Dec. 17th .. just a peek into my fun day

We had a delightful day that made a mess, icing was stuck all over the counter,candy added even more color, sticky fingers and happy laughter. Here’s what we come up with.

The houses are lopsided,icing run where it shouldn’t have ,they are so imperfect but we love them!

      * 2 egg whites
      * 3-4 cups powdered sugar
      * 1 tsp vanilla extract
      Instructions
      1. In a large bowl beat the egg whites until frothy.
      2. Gradually add the powdered sugar, half of a cup at a time, making sure to scrap down the sides of the bowl if necessary, until the icing becomes thick.
      3. Add the vanilla extract and beat until soft peaks form.
      4. Place the prepared frosting into an air tight container and leave at room temperature until ready to use. Or place directly in to a frosting bag fitted with a tip and use immediate.
      This is the recipe I use… to put the pieces together I use just a little more powdered sugar for a stiffer icing. I let the houses set for a bit before continuing.

        Oh thank you so much, I have sent this to my daughter, we are not very good at things like this, but now we should have walls that will stand the test of test, or until Oscar eats them 🙂
