The last two days have called for keeping a watch on the weather as we have had tornado warning, with severe thunderstorms. There are trees down on roads, and a neighbor that lost a calf shed roof, thankfully no serious damage like farther south where there are reports of deaths.
After one of the thunderstorms that went through,we had a beautiful rainbow .. my iPad just doesn’t do the rainbow justice but one can get a glimpse of the beauty with the clouds still looking angry.
UFDA!! BE safe Deb!

Those are scary clouds, beautiful but scary. We have no idea in the Uk about tornados, yes we have had tiny ones, but nothing like you get in the US. Even our storms are no where near as bad as yours. But I think we can match you on the rain…….please stay safe 🙂

I don’t care for tornados at all,it is a blessing that weather stations give warnings though. Yes, I do believe you out do us with rain.

Yes it is a blessing that they can give warnings, a bit like our flood warnings. Hope it wasn’t too bad today.

No, the first part of the day was rain, but later this afternoon it cleared off and a little sun shone before it set. That was very nice to see. 🙂

I’ve been wondering about you and hoping you were safe! What awful storms and they aren’t over yet, are they? I’ve never been anywhere where tornadoes come through–the very idea is terrifying. And, yet, you found some beauty in all of it . . . .

It is terrifying… but the storms are past for the time being, and we even got to see some sunshine this evening. There were 11 deaths here in the southern part of Ga.,I feel so sorry for the families.

I have never lost a loved in a tornado but I do know what it’s like to be huddled with family in a cellar or closet… then going outside to see a whole chicken house roof ripped off or path where the tornado went through the trees ,snapping them off like toothpicks.

Gosh. In my part of the country, we get used to blizzards and hurricanes, which are definitely scary, but somehow a tornado, being completely unfamiliar, seems scarier. Like trying to deal with lions if you haven’t grown up near them.

The sky is beautiful, yet somehow looks a bit ominous in spite of the rainbow. The devastation of Midville looks awful.

The sky was beautiful. Sorry for the misunderstanding.. the photo was taken in Albany , Ga .. not far from Midville, it didn’t hit as hard in Midville for which we are very thankful.

I cannot even imagine this kind of storms. Once we had heavy downburst on the cemetery where my late father rests and it brought down trees on tomb Stones.

Oh I hope it didn’t damage the headstones, graves are special.
